From their early days as a progressive group to their high-flying power-ballad days of the 80's, Journey remains one of the most popular bands from the AOR period. Their balanced attack of Steve Perry's dynamic vocals, Neal Schon's guitar work, and Jonathan Cain's keyboarding consistently proved successful, especially on such hits as "Don't Stop Believin'," "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)," and "Be Good To Yourself." Their core lineup of Schon, Cain, and Perry are rounded out by bassist Ross Valory, and famed fusion drummer Steve Smith. In recent years, the band has dealt with some lineup changes. Steve Perry left the band in 1998. Steve Smith left afterwards to continue his jazz career.

I’ll Be Alright Without You Lyrics

Journey

Ive been thinking bout the times
You walked out on me
There were moments Id believe, you were there
Do I miss you, or am I lying to my self again
I do these things...
(its all because of you)
I keep holding on, but Ill try
(try not to think of you)
Love dont leave me lonely
Ill be alright without you
Therell be someone else...i keep tellin myself
Ill be alright without you
Oh...loves an empty face, I cant replace
(you dont need it)
People wonderin why we broke apart
The great pretender here I go again
These things I do
(its all because of you)
Ill keep holdin but Ill try
(try not to think of you)
All I wanted was to hold you
Ill be alright without you
Therell be someone else, I keep tellin myself
Ill be alright without you
Loves an empty face...oh Ive got to replace
Ill be alright without you
Therell be someone else, I keep tellin myself
Ill be alright without you
Oh...loves an empty place, I can still see your face
Ill be alright
