From their early days as a progressive group to their high-flying power-ballad days of the 80's, Journey remains one of the most popular bands from the AOR period. Their balanced attack of Steve Perry's dynamic vocals, Neal Schon's guitar work, and Jonathan Cain's keyboarding consistently proved successful, especially on such hits as "Don't Stop Believin'," "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)," and "Be Good To Yourself." Their core lineup of Schon, Cain, and Perry are rounded out by bassist Ross Valory, and famed fusion drummer Steve Smith. In recent years, the band has dealt with some lineup changes. Steve Perry left the band in 1998. Steve Smith left afterwards to continue his jazz career.

Girl Can’t Help It Lyrics

Journey

If he could hold her, so close in his arms...again
If she could show him
The letter her heart forgot to send...why
Theyre livin dreams on their own
Ooh theyll never stop running
The girl cant help it, she needs more
He hasnt found what hes lookin for
Theyre still standing in the rain
He cant help it, and shes just that way
And when he calls her
She tells him that she still cares
Under the moonlight,
He wonders why she cant be there...why
Why do they go on alone
When theyre missin each other
The girl cant help it, she needs more
He hasnt found what hes lookin for
Theyre still standing in the rain
He cant help it, and shes just that way
The girl cant help it, she needs more
He hasnt found what hes lookin for
Theyre still standing in the rain
He cant help it, and shes just that way
Theres a fire
Ooh theres a fire in his eyes for you
Dont you know she still cries
Ooh do you know she still cries for you
Fire
Ooh theres a fire in his eyes for you
For you she cries
Ooh do you know she still cries for you
Fire
Ooh theres a fire in his eyes for you
Ooh nothing stands between love and you
