From their early days as a progressive group to their high-flying power-ballad days of the 80's, Journey remains one of the most popular bands from the AOR period. Their balanced attack of Steve Perry's dynamic vocals, Neal Schon's guitar work, and Jonathan Cain's keyboarding consistently proved successful, especially on such hits as "Don't Stop Believin'," "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)," and "Be Good To Yourself." Their core lineup of Schon, Cain, and Perry are rounded out by bassist Ross Valory, and famed fusion drummer Steve Smith. In recent years, the band has dealt with some lineup changes. Steve Perry left the band in 1998. Steve Smith left afterwards to continue his jazz career.

A double secret agent
And he was paid to kill
With cold steel magnum force is how the man possessed the skill
He shot a man in paris
He did a job in l.a.
And if the price was right, hed surely
Take your life away
Wanted, dead or alive, blood for money, money
Assault, homicide, blood for
Money, money, money, money
Wanted
He drove a maserati, lived up in the hills
A cat with nine lives thats gone
Too far to feel the chill
He never though itd happen
It was his last mistake
cause he was gunned down by a
Heartless womans 38.
